Attila Reményi, PhD

Biochemist, obtained his PhD at Eötvös Loránd University / European Molecular Biology Laboratory in 2002. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the University of California–San Francisco (UCSF; 2002-2007) and investigated the biochemistry and structural biology of intracellular cellular signaling networks. He worked as an associate professor and a Senior Wellcome Trust International Research Fellow at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and then moved to the Research Center for Natural Sciences (2014) where he is a scientific advisor and leads the Biomolecular Research Group in the Institute of Organic Chemistry. His current work at HUN-REN RCNS focuses on the mechanistic role of protein kinases in cancer and inflammation.

He is the chief scientific officer (CSO) at Protenic Kft and oversees the company’s preclinical drug development efforts (biochemistry, molecular biology, proteomics and DMPK). He is also one of the senior inventors in the company’s patents.

 

Tibor Soós, PhD

Organic chemist, obtained his PhD at Eötvös Loránd University in 1999. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Utah (USA) and was a Humboldt Fellow in University of Erlangen (Germany) (1999-2001). He has been a group leader since 2001 and his current work at HUN-REN RCNS focuses on organocatalyis.

He is the chief executive officer (CEO) at Protenic Kft and oversees the company’s synthetic chemistry efforts and he is one of the senior inventors in the company’s patents.
